Currently, the Adult Care Facility is phase one of the plan. This home provides men 40 years and up with mental illness, who can not live alone, a positive support system that will address their social needs of integration into the community. The residential care home provide healthy meals and snacks, all housekeeping, laundry, and field trips.
The Royal Haven Urban Outreach Center will be phase two and will have an adult day care for people with mental illness that are medically compliant. This will be a place open during the weekdays for people to come and engage in activities that will rebuild socialization skills, individual self-confidence, and pride in their daily accomplishments.
The Urban Outreach Center will also include the Educational PathWay to Employment Center which is the first wrap around service that will address an individual’s needs and in turn assist an entire family with the reentry process. The center will also assist ex-offenders by establishing  curriculum-based classes that will incorporate a cognitive-behavioral approach focusing on problem solving, goal setting, managing stress and fear, and improving cognitive skills. This approach has a positive effect on recidivism. Employment is the most important factor in the efforts to stay free and sustainable.
